of fish and 2 ... 3 good size fishes are not a bad result for a night
or morning fishing. If you are keen to catch an exotic fish and hard fishing
is of no importance it is offered to make a trip with a guide along small
rivers running to the Svir. It is in the beautiful river Mandroga with
many rapids and in the Sara stream winding among steep banks you can fish
trout and grayling. The average weight of a fish caught at 2 ... 3 km
from the mouth of the river and the stream is about 200 g but some specimen
weigh as much as 1 or 2 kg. The fishing by whipping is most successful
in the place. Up the Mandroga river at the distance about 6 km it becomes
stagnant with water lilies growing on its surface. A lot of pikes can

The place is famous for its large supply of fish, especially pikes, which
are sometimes weight up to 5 - 8 kg, large perch, roach, and bream. The
river Ivina is running to the flood, and grayling, trout and salmon swallow
the bait at the season there. If you wish it is possible to shoot ducks
while trooping, to stroll about vast cranberry marshes, to see traces
of bear, boar or elk or even to meet these animals. The tour foresees
to stay at the camp on the bank for 2 ... 4 days and to trip in motorboat
along the flood and the river, to walk for 3 ... 5 hours along the bank
